Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction
Welcome to HalalHoppers. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website at halalhoppers.com and all services offered by HalalHoppers ("we," "us," or "our"), a group travel company registered in India. By accessing our website or booking any tour with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before making a booking.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our website or book our services.
2. Eligibility
Our services are primarily designed for Muslim youth. By booking with us, you confirm that:

You are at least 18 years of age, or are booking with the written consent of a parent or legal guardian if under 18.

All information provided during the booking process is accurate, complete, and truthful.

You have read, understood, and agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and, where applicable, all members of your travel group.

You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under applicable Indian law.
3. Bookings and Reservations
3.1 Booking Process
All bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed only upon receipt of the required deposit or full payment, as specified at the time of booking. A booking confirmation will be sent to the email address provided.
3.2 Accuracy of Information
You are responsible for ensuring all traveller details (names, passport information, dietary requirements, medical conditions, etc.) are accurate and provided to us at the time of booking or as requested. We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience resulting from inaccurate information provided by you.
3.3 Group Bookings
For group bookings, the lead booker accepts these Terms on behalf of all members in the group and is responsible for ensuring all members are aware of and comply with our policies.
4. Payments
4.1 Pricing
All prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without notice until a booking is confirmed. Once confirmed, the price is guaranteed except in circumstances of government-imposed taxes, currency fluctuations, or fuel surcharges that are beyond our control.
4.2 Deposit and Full Payment
A non-refundable deposit (as specified at the time of booking) is required to secure your place on a tour. The remaining balance must be paid by the due date communicated at the time of booking. Failure to pay the balance on time may result in cancellation of your booking without refund of the deposit.
4.3 Payment Methods
We accept payments via the methods listed on our website. All transactions are processed securely. We do not store card details on our servers.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
5.1 Cancellation by You
If you wish to cancel your booking, you must notify us in writing via email. The following cancellation charges apply based on the number of days before the tour departure date:

More than 60 days before departure: Loss of deposit only.

30 to 60 days before departure: 50% of the total tour cost.

15 to 29 days before departure: 75% of the total tour cost.

Less than 15 days before departure: 100% of the total tour cost (no refund).
5.2 Cancellation by Us
HalalHoppers reserves the right to cancel any tour due to insufficient bookings, force majeure events, safety concerns, or any other reason beyond our control. In such cases, we will offer you:

A full refund of all payments made to us, or
-
The option to transfer your booking to an alternative tour of equivalent value.
HalalHoppers is not responsible for any additional costs incurred by you (such as flights, visas, or accommodation booked independently) in the event of a cancellation.
5.3 No-Show
No refund will be provided for a no-show on the day of departure.
6. Halal Standards
HalalHoppers is committed to providing halal-compliant travel experiences. We make reasonable efforts to ensure:

All meals provided during our tours are halal-certified or sourced from halal-compliant establishments.

Itineraries are structured to accommodate prayer times where reasonably possible.

Accommodation is chosen with Muslim-friendly standards in mind.
However, we cannot guarantee absolute halal compliance in all destinations, particularly in countries where halal options are limited. It remains the responsibility of each traveller to exercise their own judgment regarding food and other halal-related matters during free time or independent activities.
7. Traveller Responsibilities
All travellers are required to:

Hold a valid passport with at least 6 months validity beyond the return date of the tour.

Obtain all necessary visas, travel permits, and vaccinations required for the destination countries at their own cost and responsibility.

Comply with all local laws, customs, and regulations of the countries visited.

Behave respectfully towards fellow travellers, our staff, local communities, and religious sites.

Adhere to the itinerary and report any issues to the tour leader promptly.

Carry adequate travel insurance (strongly recommended).
HalalHoppers reserves the right to remove any traveller from a tour if their behaviour is deemed disruptive, offensive, or a risk to others, without any refund.
8. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all travellers purchase comprehensive travel insurance prior to departure. This should cover, at a minimum: medical emergencies, trip cancellation or interruption, loss of baggage, and personal liability. HalalHoppers is not responsible for any costs arising from a lack of travel insurance.
9. Limitation of Liability
HalalHoppers acts as an organiser of group travel experiences. While we take all reasonable steps to ensure the safety and satisfaction of our travellers, we are not liable for:

Any death, personal injury, illness, loss, or damage arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, civil unrest, pandemics, or government actions.

Any loss or additional expenses due to delays, changes, or cancellations caused by airlines, hotels, or other third-party service providers.

The acts or omissions of independent contractors or third-party suppliers used in the provision of the tour.

Loss or theft of personal belongings during the tour.
Our total liability to you in connection with any tour shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for that tour.
10. Health and Safety
You must inform us of any pre-existing medical conditions, allergies, or special needs at the time of booking. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your needs, but cannot guarantee this in all circumstances.
Travellers are responsible for their own health and wellbeing. We reserve the right to refuse participation to any traveller whose medical condition may pose a risk to themselves or others.
11. Privacy and Data Protection
We collect and process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on our website at halalhoppers.com. By booking with us, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described therein. We comply with applicable Indian data protection laws, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules.
12. Intellectual Property
All content on halalhoppers.com, including text, images, logos, graphics, and tour descriptions, is the intellectual property of HalalHoppers and is protected by applicable copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from our website without our prior written consent.
By submitting photos or content to us (for example, via social media or for promotional use), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use such content for marketing purposes.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your booking shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation.
If a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Hassan, Karnataka, India.
14. Changes to These Terms
HalalHoppers reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. The updated Terms will be posted on our website with a revised effective date. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
